Mawra Hocane has got emotional over the immense feedback for her ongoing drama, Jama Taqseem, and is simultaneously refusing to step out of her never-ending birthday celebrations.
Taking to Instagram, the 33-year-old actress penned a heartfelt note, saying she was ‘beyond touched’ by the love and messages her social drama has received.
“The feedback on Jama Taqseem is unbelievable,” she wrote, adding, “So grateful! So much love and empathy to everyone who has experienced something similar or worse... together we can bring the change, one conversation at a time.”
The Sabaat star also shared screenshots of fan comments and DMs praising her performance, adding that every ‘conversation of love and empathy’ can help spark real change.
Her post took traction as entertainment portals shared it on social media. But even as Mawra poured her heart out about social change, her Instagram feed told another story, one that looked more like a never-ending birthday parade.
Despite September being long gone, Mawra shared yet another celebration snap featuring a cake and a caption bursting with love, glitter, and self-appreciation.
From pre-birthday teasers to post-bash reflections, the Aangan actress seems to be extending her big day indefinitely. The actress, indeed, made sure no one missed her special day.
Turning 33 on September 28, she kicked off celebrations early with an intimate pre-birthday dinner hosted by her in-laws. Her sister Urwa Hocane joined in the fun, posting a heartfelt montage of childhood memories.
However, not all fans were impressed by her extended celebration spree. Some accused her of overdoing it, with one follower commenting, “Stop it and get back to work — you’re not a national hero.” Another added, “She said no gifts, but keeps gifting herself attention.”
Ironically, just days earlier, Mawra had urged her followers not to send her gifts and instead “feed someone in need.” But her constant flow of dreamy posts and sentimental captions left many wondering if she’s feeding her fans or simply her own spotlight.
Still, her latest romantic post dedicated to her husband, Ameer Gilani, melted hearts across social media.
