Islamabad Police arrested four youths for laughing at the ruling Nawaz League’s leader Atta Tarar, 24News HD TV Channel reported on Sunday.

In a surprising move, Islamabad Police have kept four youths in lockup for more than 24 hours without registering any case against them on the charge that they had laughed at a Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader.

Four youths identified as Zain, Taimur, Salman, and Qadeer have been imprisoned in Kohsar Police Station on the order of PML-N Atta Ullah Tarar.

The SHO of Kohsar Police Station quoting Atta Tara said the youths allegedly stair and laugh at him, and called him a thief in a restaurant.

However, SHO assured the media persons that there is nothing special, the detainees will be released soon.

According to the adviser to Prime Minister Ata Tarar, he was with his family when four boys harassed him. The police reached there and shifted them to the police station for investigation. Later, the police released the boys as Atta pardoned them.
