Balochistan announces two-day public holiday on Eid Milad-un-Nabi

The Balochistan government has announced a two-day public holiday on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (peace be upon him), corresponding to the 12th of Rabi-ul-Awwal, falling on September 5 and 6.

According to a notification issued by the Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD), all government and semi-government offices, as well as educational institutions, will remain closed across the province on Friday and Saturday.

The announcement clarified that officers and staff engaged in emergency and essential services will continue to perform their duties as usual.

This official declaration marks province-wide observance of the revered occasion, with schools in Quetta and other districts also remaining closed during the holidays.
