NSC is not Imran Bachao Committee, says Maryam Nawaz

In a fresh tirade against the PTI, PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz has said Prime Minister Imran Khan ‘carried out a suicide attack on the constitution. 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Tuesday.

The government came up with a fake letter instead of a performance, Maryam Nawaz said on Tuesday. 

“The National Security Council (NSC) was used for a political purpose … Imran Khan used it to protect his premiership. The NSC is not ‘Imran Bachao Committee,” she added. 

She asked the government to show the letter and produce the ambassador before the Supreme Court.

The daughter of ex-PM Nawaz Sharif said the letter was written while sitting in the Foreign Ministry.

"Imran Khan attacked the constitution in a bid to protect his premiership. 

Security agencies should inform the nation about the truth," she stressed.

The PML-N leader bombarded the PTI chief with a volley of queries.

The reason for dissolving the assembly was to evade corruption scandals, Maryam Nawaz added.
