PML-N announces issuing 'White Paper' against Imran Khan
NA was dissolved to hide PM Imran’s corruption: Shahid Khaqan Abbasi
The former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Tuesday alleged that President Arif Alvi had dissolved the National Assembly (NA) only to conceal the ‘corruption’ done by Prime Minister Imran Khan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Talking to media outside an accountability court (AC) in Islamabad, he said that even the country’s constitution was violated, and Prime Minister Imran Khan and President Arif Alvi were behind this ‘conspiracy’.
He went on to say that earlier military dictators used to violate the constitution. “But now the ‘so-called elected representatives’ of the people do that,” he regretted. He also announced issuing a white paper against Imran Khan.
Abbasi said that the entire nation was now looking towards the Supreme Court to give its decision on the constitutionality of the ruling given by the NA deputy speaker under which he had thrown out the opposition’s no-trust motion, saying it had been funded from abroad.
The PML-N leader even demanded the registration of treason cases against the president, prime minister, deputy speaker and others.
