Mother of PTI leader Aslam Iqbal laid to rest in Lahore

Mother of PTI leader and former provincial minister Aslam Iqbal was laid to rest in a local graveyard after her funeral prayer was held at Dongi Ground, Samanabad in Lahore on Sunday. 

Among those who attended the funeral and burial services were Mian Aslam Iqbal’s brother Mian Amjad Iqbal, Federal Minister Awn Ch, MNA Hafiz Nauman, MPA Farrukh Javed, Mian Ijaz Shafi, and former Punjab Health Minister Dr Tahir Ali Javed. 

PTI Secretary General Salman Akram Raja, MPAs Sheikh Imtiaz, Ammar Dogar, Zaheer Abbas Khokhar, Brigadier (r) Mushtaq, Ali Imtiaz, and Ali Akbar were also present. 

PML-N leader Khawaja Ahmad Hassan and business leader and a large number of locals attended the funeral. After the funeral prayers, attendees offered condolences to Mian Aslam Iqbal’s brother, Amjad Iqbal, and prayed for the deceased’s forgiveness and eternal peace.
