Old feud turns deadly as gunfire claims life of 11-year-old girl in Sindh

An 11-year-old girl was killed during an armed clash between two rival groups of the Noonari community in a village near Thul in Sindh, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.

According to the details, the incident occurred in the village of Rasool Bakhsh Noonari, where tensions between two groups of the same community flared up, leading to an exchange of gunfire. 

During the crossfire, the young girl was fatally shot.

Police identified the deceased as Yasmeen Noonari and confirmed that the clash stemmed from an old dispute between the rival groups. 

Police sources said the situation turned violent when both sides opened fire, resulting in the child’s death.

The sources added that further investigations are underway to ascertain the full details of the incident and to determine responsibility for the violence.
