Police on Saturday recovered the dead body of a doctor who was kidnapped from his private clinic in Waryamwala, Shorkot in Jhang three days ago, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Four unknown armed persons abducted Dr Umar Rafique at gunpoint from his private clinic in Shorkot, Cantt three days ago.

According to police, they got information about the discovery of a body packed in a sack in Trimo Sidhnai Canal. When they took out the body, it was Dr Rafique who was abducted at gunpoint three days ago.

Police said they started an investigation.

Doctors and paramedic staff of Jhang expressed their concern over the murder of Dr Rafique.
