Child dead, six injured in Peshawar gas leakage blast

A child was killed and six other family members injured after gas leakage caused an explosion at a house located on Qadirabad Road in Peshawar, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The injured included father, mother and four other children who, according to Rescue 1122, were shifted to a hospital after the provision of first aid at the blast site.
It is reported that the victim family was staying at the house as guests after their arrival from Lahore.
According to officials, three ambulances and a fire tender arrived at the spot soon after getting information. Later, the Rescue 1122 firefighters managed to extinguish the fire but only after a room and attached veranda were gutted in the incident.
Quetta cylinder explosion
A gas cylinder explosion at the waiting room of a bus terminal – New Adda – in Quetta injured five people who had been rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. The injured were included women and children.
