The PML-N is very much excited about the power show in Lahore on December 13, as party leaders and workers have been finalising their preparations being the host for the event organised under the banner of PDM (Pakistan Democratic Movement).
One of these workers is Abdul Hameed – a party worker from Multan – who, according to 24NewsHD TV channel, transported a shipment of 25,000 masks to Jati Umra – the residence of PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif.
And why did he do so? Because these masks would be distributed among those attending the rally in Lahore.
In this connection, the PML-N has already designed masks in different colours and designs, depicting the image of the tiger – the party symbol.
The PML-N had earlier announced that 0.5 million masks would be distributed among the people.

In a tweet posted last month, Maryam Nawaz – the political heiress of Nawaz Sharif – had posted an image of her wearing one of these masks with a jibe at the PTI government by comparing the “respect the vote” slogan with the mask and equating Prime Minister Imran Khan with the coronavirus.

“While a mask gives you protection from Covid-19, [the] ‘Vote ko Izzat Do’ narrative and struggle will protect you from ‘Covid-18’” as well as any similar attempts in future, she remarked.
The party leaders are holding corner meetings and workers’ conventions not only in different parts of Lahore but also other towns and cities as part of the mobilisation campaign for the rally.
