A Pak Army soldier was martyred during an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) in Jhallar Algad, North Waziristan District.

According to the military’s media wing Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Security Forces conducted an IBO in Jhallar Algad, North Waziristan District.

During the conduct of the operation, an intense fire exchange took place between security forces and terrorists. Troops effectively engaged the terrorists’ location. Resultantly, five terrorists got killed. Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed terrorists.

The killed terrorists remained actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces and the killing of innocent citizens.

However, during the intense exchange of fire, Sepoy Nasir Khan (age 25 years, resident of South Waziristan District) having fought gallantly, embraced shahadat.

Sanitization of the area is being carried out to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area.
