KP CTD report says 51 women convicted for terrorism since 2014

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Counter-terrorism Department (CTD) Monday stated that 51 women have been convicted of terrorism since 2014, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported.

According to the report, 30 women were found guilty of terrorism, 13 were involved in kidnapping, three in target killing, two in extortion while three were found to be involved in terror financing.

A total of six women are wanted by the CTD for terrorism, kidnapping, and extortion in Peshawar.

Deputy Inspector General (DIG) CTD said that the authorities face difficulties in arresting women.
