A video from the Indian city Bengaluru pub has placed Aryan Khan back in the spotlight after it circulated widely online, showing him entering the venue with friends and, at one point, making a middle-finger gesture toward onlookers.

The footage captures Aryan arriving at the pub with Kannada actor Zaid Khan, as well as Congress leader Mohammad Nalpad. He is initially seen waving at those around him before briefly displaying the gesture that has since triggered public criticism.

The venue falls under the Ashoknagar Police Station limits, and although Bengaluru Police usually review and trace objectionable viral videos, this instance appears to have drawn no immediate action or comment.

There are mixed comments by netizens. While some ask for inquiry and police action on the gesture, most find the gesture hilarious and non-objectionable; they even come to the rescue to defend the Ba***ds of Bollywood director.

Aryan was in Bengaluru for a brand-related engagement and had also been seen earlier in videos stepping out with security, greeting fans, and waving from a balcony at the venue.

This development comes against the backdrop of Aryan’s past legal scrutiny.

Known as an entrepreneur and filmmaker, he is the elder son of Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan and completed his studies at the University of Southern California. In October 2021, he was arrested during a Narcotics Control Bureau raid on a cruise ship and spent 25 days in Mumbai Central Prison before being granted bail on October 28 of that year.

The resurfacing of an older case involving Nalpad, one of the individuals Aryan was seen with at the Bengaluru venue and who is an Indian businessman and Karnataka Pradesh Youth Congress Committee President, has also become part of the online conversation. The 2018 assault case, which drew significant attention at the time, included witness statements and a lengthy chargesheet.

Court proceedings continued for months before bail was ultimately granted to Nalpad.

As of now, there is no confirmation that the Bengaluru pub incident will advance into a legal matter. With police still silent on the video and conversations unfolding largely online, the situation remains focused on public reaction rather than official action.
