PML-N President and Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif has said that the party and its supremo will take decision on bringing the no-confidence motion against Imran Khan’s government, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

While talking to media along with PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz after a meeting of opposition parties in which Bilawal and Asif Ali Zardari also participated on Saturday, Shehbaz said that the current government of PTI was a failed and corrupt government. People were praying for the removal of this regime, he added.

He was of the view if opposition parties did not join their forces today, the nation would not forgive them.

He said that they should utilize all constitutional and legal options. He said today’s deliberations would be put forth before the PPP and PDM.

PPP Chairman Bilawal opined that if we wanted to save the country then we should get rid of Imran Khan.

The more the opposition parties are united, the more pressure will be put on the government, he added.

Bilawal lamented that incidents of terrorism were rising in the country and the government ministers were shedding crocodile tears.

Earlier, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari and Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari arrived to a warm welcome at the Model Town residence in Lahore of PML-N President and Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif for the much-hyped luncheon meeting on Saturday.

Shehbaz Sharif, PML-N Vice-President Maryam Nawaz, Hamza Shehbaz and other Nawaz League leaders welcomed the PPP father-son duo.

Asif Zardari and Bilawal Zardari were accompanied by PPP Central Punjab General Secretary Hassan Murtaza and Rukhsana Bangash whereas Shehbaz Sharif was with Maryam Nawaz, Hamza Shehbaz, Marriyum Aurangzeb and Khawaja Saad Rafique.

Zardari and Bilawal soon after their arrival inquired after the health of Shehbaz Sharif who tested positive for coronavirus a few days ago.

The PPP leaders also expressed well wishes for the good health of PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif.

On the occasion, both sides also discussed the political situation prevailing in the country.

Shehbaz Sharif extended the invitation to the PPP leader on the direction of PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif.

On Friday, PML-N leader Shehbaz Sharif rang up Bilawal Bhutto to invite him over luncheon to chalk out a strategy against the government.

Sources were of the view that a lot was on the political plate of the apparent luncheon meeting and an in-House change was on top of the agenda.

The issues relating to political cooperation between the two parties inside the parliament, PPP’s long march and anti-government movement are also expected to come under discussion during the meeting.
