Punjab CM Maryam announces allotting five acres of govt land to poor

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has announced to give 3 to 5 acres of government agricultural land to the poor across Punjab under Apna Khet, Apna Rozgar programme, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony of electric buses in Rajanpur, Maryam Nawaz said Punjab's fate has changed in two years and no district of the province will be left behind. 

Chief Minister said development of backward areas is Punjab government’s priority and Rajanpur's backwardness is now coming to an end.

Electric buses running on the roads of Lahore now will run in Rajanpur, Maryam Nawaz said.

She said better travel facilities are now at the doorstep of the people of Rajanpur.

Electric buses are being spread across Punjab and 1100 more buses are coming to Punjab, Chief Minister said.

Maryam Nawaz said in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, will people eat awareness instead of medicines? The people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are craving cheap bread, Maryam Nawaz said.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, awareness is different for workers and awareness is different for rulers, Maryam Nawaz added.

Maryam Nawaz said only awareness cannot fill anyone's stomach and no one can go to school by sitting on awareness. 

A fake government is one that eats the rights and progress of the people, Maryam Nawaz said.

Maryam Nawaz said those who object to the Chief Minister's use of planes should listen, planes do not land in Adiala.

Those who educate people's children tell their children to sit in Britain so that they do not get hot air, Maryam Nawaz said.
