Section officer dismissed over prolonged absence

The Establishment Division, under the Civil Servants Rules, 2020, on Thursday notified the dismissal from service of Danial Khan, a grade-17 section officer, belonging to the Office Management Group, for remaining absent for a prolonged period of time, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The notification issued in this connection said that Danial had the right to appeal the decision within 30 days.
It was further stated in the notification that Danial had been issued an NOC to study in the USA on scholarship.
“However, after completing his education on time, he did not report to the Establishment Division. He did not join the duty on July 25, 2024,” it read.
