Wedding festivities of Faryal Talpur's daughter kick off

The wedding festivities of Ayesha Talpur, beloved daughter of Ms Faryal Talpur, President of the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Women’s Wing, and Mr Munawar Ali Talpur, MNA, are in full swing in Karachi. Ayesha, also the beloved niece of the President Asif Ali Zardari, is celebrating her union with Syed Shabiul Hassan, son of Syed Muhammad Javed.

The celebrations began on Sunday, January 4, 2026, with a dazzling Sangeet Night held at Aman House in Karachi.

The evening featured spectacular performances by legendary musicians Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Abida Parveen, who captivated the audience with their soulful music. Last night, at a special Qawali night, Abida Parveen once again enthralled the gathering with her artistry.

The wedding festivities have been graced by the esteemed presence of Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, along with his sister Bakhtawar and her husband.

The events have also been attended by a distinguished lineup of federal ministers, provincial ministers, MNAs, MPAs of Sindh, and women members of the PPP, making the celebrations a grand political and social gathering.

The celebrations will continue until January 11, 2026, with the Rukhsati scheduled for January 9 and the Walima on January 11.

Prominent figures from Pakistan’s political and cultural spheres would be part of these events.

Ayesha Talpur’s wedding has thus become a high-profile celebration, blending familial warmth, political stature, and Pakistan’s rich musical heritage into an unforgettable series of events.
