Woman accused of killing husband in Sarai Alamgir

A man was allegedly murdered by his wife in village Sardhok, falling within the limits of Sadar police station, police sources said on Monday.

According to police, the woman is accused of strangling her husband to death with the help of her paramour. Soon after receiving information, police from Sadar police station along with DSP Mumtaz Maken reached the scene.

The body was taken into custody and shifted for further legal formalities, while an investigation into the incident has been launched.

Police said the accused woman managed to escape from the spot. Raid teams have been formed to arrest the suspects, and officials expressed confidence that those involved will be taken into custody soon.
