Pakistan reports 1,347 new coronavirus cases; 19 deaths

As many as 19 more people succumbed to coronavirus and 1,347 new cases emerged during the last 24 hours, (Sunday) showed the data released by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on Monday morning.
According to the statistics released by NCOC, after the addition of 19 new deaths, the toll has now surged to 22,427 which represents a ratio of 2.3 percent.
The positivity ratio of the coronavirus cases in Pakistan has reached 2.97 percent, as 1,347 new coronavirus cases emerged in the last 24 hours after conducting 45,245 tests. It takes the total cases tally to 963,660 that returned positive after conducting 14,778,275 total tests so far.
The number of active cases in the country is 33,299 with 1,894 patients in critical condition.
There were 650 more recoveries recorded in the last 24 hours as the number of total recovered cases reached 907,934 with a 94.2% recovery rate.
Punjab, the most populous province of the country, has reported 124 new cases in the last 24 hours, taking the provincial tally to 346,852 with 8,100 active cases. In Punjab, 4 more patients died of coronavirus as the death toll reached 10,776. With 223 new recoveries, 327,976 patients have recovered from the virus in Punjab so far.
Sindh has recorded 940 new cases during the last 24 hours taking the provincial tally to 340,902 with 20,786 active cases. With 8 new deaths related to the deadly disease, the death toll in Sindh reached 5,520. With 157 new recoveries, 314,596 patients have recovered from the virus in the province so far.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has recorded 112 new cases during the last 24 hours taking the tally to 138,533 with 1,575 active cases. The province reported 4 new virus-related deaths as the death toll reached 4,340. With 124 new recoveries, 132,618 patients have recovered from the virus in the province so far.
Balochistan has recorded another 32 new cases during the last 24 hours taking the tally to 27,419 with 694 active cases. The province reported no new death as the death toll remains 312. With 82 new recoveries, 26,413 patients have recovered from the virus in the province so far.
Islamabad has recorded 53 new cases during the last 24 hours taking the tally to 82,969 with 1,117 active cases. With one new death reported in the Federal Capital, the death toll reached 780. With 28 new recoveries, the number of recovered patients is 81,072 in the federal capital so far.
Azad Jammu and Kashmir
Azad Jammu and Kashmir has recorded 53 new cases during the last 24 hours taking the tally to 20,558 with 546 active cases. With two new deaths reported, the death toll reached 588. There were 25 new recoveries in the AJK as 19,424 patients have recovered so far from the virus.
Gilgit-Baltistan recorded 33 new cases during the last 24 hours, as the tally reached 6,427 with 481 active cases. No new death reported in the province as the death toll remains at 111. There were 11 new recoveries as the number of patients recovered from the deadly disease reached 5,835.
