After completing his official tour to Japan, Foreign Minister (FM) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has reached the USA on a private visit, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

Sources told 24News that Bilawal, who was invited to the USA by a think tank, was likely to stay there for more or less a week.

The FM will participate in a conference to be held under the auspices of the think tank.

Sources further disclosed that efforts were being made at diplomatic level to arrange his meetings with senior officials of the US administration.

However, they added, Bilawal’s meetings with these officials were not confirmed as yet.

Sources told 24News TV channel that if held, Pak-US ties, challenges confronting the two countries and situation in South Asia would come under discussion.
