Accused killed in encounter with Lahore police

An accused was killed and two of his colleagues escaped during a police encounter in Muslim Town area of Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
Sources in the Crime Control Department (CCD) said that the police were taking accused Shehzad for investigation when two unknown accused started firing on the police party in Muslim Town.
During the firing, the accused died on the spot, while the other accused fled away from the spot.
Shehzad was involved in more than a dozen cases, including murder, attempted murder, and snatching.
Police started a search operation to arrest the accused who had escaped from the scene.
