Meghan prepares cupcakes to honour love and liberty
Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, marked the US Independence Day with a personal post celebrating family tradition alongside her husband, Prince Harry and their two children, Archie and Lilibet.
The 43-year-old shared a series of photos on Instagram, including a cozy image with Harry and handmade cupcakes prepared for the occasion.
“Our second date was the 4th of July 2016, and H brought me cupcakes to celebrate. Now, all these years later, our two children are in on the tradition. Happy Independence Day! May your day be as sweet as these cupcakes,” she captioned.
Earlier in the day, Meghan also promoted her lifestyle brand As Ever, showcasing a festive charcuterie board featuring fruits, cheese, and her sold-out raspberry spread. While the promotional video received mixed responses online, her family-oriented post was met with appreciation from followers who admired the personal touch.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who now reside in California, have occasionally shared glimpses of their private life while focusing on parenting and creative ventures. The couple recently enjoyed a family trip to Disneyland, continuing to prioritise meaningful time with their children.
While Meghan’s lifestyle content has sparked debate among royal watchers and online audiences, her recent post centered around simple traditions and family life struck a more relatable note.
