Ten injured as pickup plunges into ravine on Swat road

At least 10 people were injured when a pickup vehicle plunged into a ravine on Gabin Jabba Road in the Swat District after its brakes reportedly failed, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.

According to rescue officials, emergency teams rushed to the scene and provided first aid to the injured before transferring them to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital in Matta for further treatment.

The injured were identified as Luqman, 20, Yaseen, 13, Anas, 14, Ghani, 12, Rehan, 11, Waseem, 27, Rehman, 9, Adnan, 13, Salman, 13, and Tayyab, 14.

Rescue officials said all of the injured belonged to the Bagh Dheri area of Swat. Hospital authorities reported that the victims were receiving medical treatment following the accident.
