Police registered a case of terrorism financing against the husband of a female suicide bomber of the Karachi University Blast on Sunday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the investigations of the Karachi University suicide attack are continued and the case has been registered at the CTD police station on the complaint of Inspector Sanaullah.
As per the FIR, Hibetan Bashir, the husband of a female suicide bomber, and others have been charged with terrorism financing.
It is stated in the FIR that Hibetan Bashir and his accomplices are accused of providing funds for the blast to the suicide bomber Shari Hayat.
After registering the case, the police started searching for the husband of the suicide bomber and his other facilitators.
Pertinent to mention here that Chinese teachers were targeted by a bomb blast in front of the Karachi University on April 26, 2022.
