Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) senior leader and former foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Sunday warned that the workers of the party will provoke a strong reaction if Imran Khan is arrested, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Addressing to media in Islamabad, Qureshi said Minister of Interior Rana Sanaullah intends to arrest former premier Imran Khan.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi said Rana Sanaullah has a misunderstanding that PTI will remain silent on the arrest of Imran Khan.

The former foreign minister said the PTI workers will come up with a quick response in case of Imran Khan's arrest.

Qureshi went on to say the workers are now planning a peaceful response if the former premier is arrested, adding that there is no need to send a message to anyone for a political response.

Qureshi made it clear that PTI will take full part in Punjab by-elections to be held for 20 vacant seats.

Shah Mehmood said no PTI's MNA would appear before NA Speaker Raja Pervaiz Ashraf to verify their resignations.
