Pakistan's trade deficit falls by 39% last month: Adviser

As the federal budget unveiling drew closer, Adviser on Finance Khurram Schehzad has said Pakistan's trade deficit fell by 39 percent last month, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In a post on X uploaded on Friday, Khurram Schehzad noted that the trade gap narrowed due to increase in exports and decrease in imports.
The adviser mentioned that exports grew by 10 percent while imports saw a significant decline of 22 percent in May.
He highlighted that IT exports and remittances are also showing continuous growth.
