A 26-year-old prisoner of Lahore Camp Jail died in Services Hospital, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

According to the prison authorities, the deceased Shahbaz was a drug addict and a resident of Jia Bagga. He was nominated in a number of cases and transferred to the Camp Jail in December 2021.

Shahbaz went through treatment several times in the prison hospital under the rehabilitation program. 

He was shifted to the Services Hospital yesterday after his condition worsened, where he died during the treatment. 

The body has been moved to the mortuary for autopsy.
