Dr Muhammad Arif Khan wins Presidential Iqbal Award

President Asif Ali Zardari has approved the Presidential Iqbal Award for Dr Muhammad Arif Khan’s book, "Kamal Iqbal and the Twenty-First Century," recognizing it as the best Urdu publication on Allama Iqbal.

The Iqbal Academy Pakistan annually confers the National Presidential Iqbal Award to honour outstanding literary contributions on the life and philosophy of Allama Iqbal. The award is granted with the approval of the President of Pakistan under Article 48(1) of the Constitution and the Iqbal Academy Ordinance 1962.

As the Patron-in-Chief of Iqbal Academy Pakistan, President Zardari’s approval underscores the state's commitment to promoting research and literature on Iqbal’s philosophy and its relevance in modern times.
