Four die as gas explosion bring down roof of house in Attock

Four people died and two were injured when roof of a house collapsed after gas leakage explosion near a cemetery in Pindi Ghaip in Attock, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.  

According to Rescue 1122 officials, the accident occurred during Iftar time due to a gas leak in the house on Wednesday, due to which the roof of the house collapsed and four people were buried in the rubble, 

A rescue operation was conducted on the initial information that two people died while more people were buried in the rubble. 

Later, the bodies of two more people have been retrieved from the debris of the house. 

However, the seriously injured were shifted to THQ Hospital from where the injured were referred to Rawalpindi in critical condition while the rescue operation is still ongoing.
