Lahore High Court (LHC) has accepted the plea of Police Inspector Abid Hussain aka Abid Boxer, notorious for being an ‘encounter specialist’ against the inclusion of his name in the target killers list.

According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, LHC Justice Ali Zia Bajwa heard the petition of Abid Boxer and passed the order that he should not be harassed if there is no case against him.

Abid Boxer’s lawyer submitted that his client has been acquitted in the cases already filed in various police stations and there is no new case registered against Abid Boxer since 2009.

On the court order, SSP Legal submitted a report on the case related to Abid Boxer. SSP Legal presented records related to the cases against Abid Boxer.

Justice Ali Zia Bajwa asked SSP Legal that is there any case pending against the boxer. He replied no case against him at present as he has been acquitted in all cases.

There is no complaint against Abid Boxer at this time, nor is any case wanted, SSP Legal submitted to the court.

After hearing the arguments of the lawyer, the court accepted the plea against the inclusion of Abid Boxer's name in the target list.

Thus, Abid Boxer got a big relief from Lahore High Court as well as from the Punjab police.
