Pakistan debunks Indian propaganda as global media sees truth at LOC

To counter Indian misinformation, Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar led a delegation of international and local journalists to the Line of Control (LoC), exposing what he termed India’s baseless and malicious propaganda about terrorist camps in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
During the visit, the journalists were shown sites that India had falsely claimed were terrorist hideouts. Instead, these locations turned out to be ordinary civilian areas, with no signs of militant activity. The Ministry of Information facilitated this visit to present the truth on the ground, offering direct testimonies from local residents and allowing media to independently verify the situation.
Tarar said that India has repeatedly hurled unfounded allegations against Pakistan, but “today we have laid all the facts bare before global and national media.” He added, “What India calls terror camps are in reality inhabited by peaceful citizens.”
He stressed that Pakistan is a responsible state committed to both regional and global peace and has always condemned terrorism in all its forms. “However, we will go to any extent to defend our sovereignty,” he warned, urging India to look inward and address the grave human rights violations in occupied Kashmir before accusing others.
Tarar said India spreads propaganda at the LoC to cover its internal failures, but now international media have seen the reality with their own eyes. “Pakistan has once again demonstrated its commitment to regional peace but also reaffirmed that any Indian aggression will receive a strong and immediate response.”
CNN editor witnesses fake encounter aftermath in LoC village
As per the TV channel report, renowned CNN editor and international diplomatic award-winner Nick Robertson also visited the LoC and the village of Sar Jiwar, where two civilians, Muhammad Farooq and Muhammad Deen, were martyred by the Indian Army in a fake encounter on April 24, 2025.
Sources said that Nick Robertson interviewed the grieving families of the victims, who shared harrowing details of the brutal incident.
CNN’s team also recorded statements from eyewitnesses, who revealed disturbing facts about the Indian army’s brutal actions in occupied Kashmir.
According to defence analysts, such fake encounters have now become a major international concern, with growing evidence of India’s extrajudicial killings of innocent civilians in disputed regions.
Through international media coverage, the bereaved families have appealed for justice and international accountability.
