Punjab Assembly Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmed Khan met with Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

During meeting, Maryam Nawaz Sharif expressed heartfelt condolences on the death of Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmed Khan's sister and offered Fateha for the departed soul.

Public affairs, development projects were discussed in the meeting.

Malik Muhammad Ahmed Khan paid tribute to the Chief Minister for her record projects and appreciated Faisalabad and Gujranwala Mass Transit System projects.

Talking on occasion, Maryam Nawaz said every public project is very close to my heart.

Government is providing basic facilities to the people at their doorsteps, Maryam Nawaz said.

She said government will further accelerate the journey of public service.
