PTI leaders, sisters gather outside jail after being denied meeting
Scheduled visiting hours for jailed former prime minister Imran Khan ended on Tuesday at Adiala Jail without any taking place, as authorities denied access to his sisters and senior leaders of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), 24NewsHD TV reported on Tuesday.
Party chairman Barrister Gohar Khan left from Dahgal checkpoint without meeting the PTI founder, party sources said.
Outside the jail, Khan’s three sisters, along with senior leaders including Salman Akram Raja, Shafi Jan, and Shehryar Afridi, remained present at the Factory Naka area along with party workers till filing this report.
The development comes amid repeated complaints by PTI that its leaders and family members have been unable to meet Imran Khan for months, raising concerns over his health and legal situation.
