Mohsin Naqvi greets Sikhs on Baba Guru Nanak birth anniversary

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has extended heartfelt congratulations to the Sikh community on the occasion of the 556th birth anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak Dev Ji, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

In his message issued on Wednesday, Mohsin Naqvi highlighted Baba Guru Nanak’s enduring legacy, emphasizing his teachings of love for humanity, equality, and compassion, which continue to inspire millions worldwide.

Mohsin Naqvi said that all the Sikh yatrees who are in Pakistan are our guests. The hospitality of Pakistanis is a message of peace, love, and brotherhood for the Sikh yatrees, he added.

Mohsin Naqvi said that there is no restriction on Sikh yatrees to perform their religious rituals.

Naqvi reiterated the government’s commitment to protecting the rights of all minorities in Pakistan.

The minister also acknowledged the significance of Kartarpur Sahib, one of the holiest sites in Sikhism, located in Pakistan, as a beacon of interfaith harmony.

With comprehensive facilities provided for their religious rituals, the event stands as a testament to Pakistan’s dedication to promoting interfaith harmony and respect for all religious communities.
