Karachi police recover Lyari Gang's dumped explosive material

District and City police recovered five mortar bullets and five mortar folders from a vacant plot in Karachi during a targeted operation, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.
The plot was located near Kausar Petrol Pump at Jamal Shah Street in the jurisdiction of Napier Police Station in Karachi.
Police said that they received credible information that an explosive material had been dumped in a vacant plot.
Later, the police dug the plot and recovered five mortar rounds and five mortar folders.
Police claimed that the explosive material belonged to the Lyari gang and the Shafiq Pathan group.
The police, after registering a case, started an investigation.
