The actual potential of this new era of Pakistani filmmaking is only apparent when one turns their gaze away from the dazzling blockbusters that dominate the global large screens. Pakistan is producing new movies in a vast range of genres with the passage of time that are having audience attention.

Since its inception, Pakistani cinema has been mostly recognized for its action, romance, and comedy films. The films are filled with action, romance, and comedy, whether they are vintage works like Maula Jutt and Churiyan, post-revival works like Jawani Phir Nahi Ani, or more current works like SherDil. Movies in these genres can range in quality. And while the general caliber of the movies has improved dramatically over time, more flavors in genres are increasing over time in Lollywood.

The upcoming movies are being produced on the basis of standards that are set. More genres like crime, mystery, thriller, and action thriller are also getting introduced in the Pakistani film industry.

Some movies might become the biggest releases of all time as Pakistan's film industry works persistently on types of entertainment to introduce to the general public and provide new flavors to the audience.

Here are a few upcoming films:

ARY Films is the production company for the upcoming Pakistani action-thriller Zarrar, an actiona, thriller film which was written and directed by Shaan Shahid and produced by Ejaz Shahid and Adnan Butt. Along with Kiran Malik, Nadeem Baig, Nayyer Ejaz, and Shafqat Cheema playing supporting parts, the film also stars Shaan Shahid as the title character.

The idea for the movie "Zarrar" first surfaced in 2016, when it was believed that it would be Pakistan's first spy thriller. The movie is scheduled to launch in theatres on September 23, 2022.

Secret agent Zarrar has gone rogue. In an effort to stop the apparently never-ending cycle of threats against his own Pakistan, he is on a mission to eradicate corruption. Zarrar learns the details of a global conspiracy to topple the Pakistani government and thereafter seize control of its nuclear weapons programed with the assistance of Colonel Mustajab, a close confidant. Zarrar needs to act quickly to end the worst challenge Pakistan has faced since its founding because time is running short.

An upcoming Pakistani movie called Neelofar would star Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, and Madiha Imam. Ammar Rasool is the film's writer and director, and Fawad Khan is a co-producer.

After the popular drama Humsafar and the upcoming The Legend of Maula Jatt, this movie will reunite Fawad and Mahira onscreen for a third time.

The makers are considering December 23 as the release date for "Neelofar," which will be available around Christmas.

Money back guarantee

Money Back Guarantee is a Pakistani film directed by Faisal Qureshi. Fawad Khan, Hina Dilpazir, Ali Safina, Wasim Akram, Shayan Khan, Mikaal Zulfiqar, Gohar Rasheed, and Jan Rambo are among the actors who appear in the movie. The movie was scheduled to hit theatres on May 22, 2020. The COVID-19 outbreak forced a delay in the movie's release.

Aasman Boley Ga

The much-anticipated trailer for acclaimed director Shoaib Mansoor's next movie Aasmaan Bolay Ga has been released, and the release date has been set very shortly.

On the first day of Eid, Mansoor published the project's title teaser on social media, starring Maya Ali and Emmad Irfani.

Little is currently known about the movie. However, it will be the first time Irfani has a significant part in a movie. The Jalan actor previously remarked how thrilled he was about the possibility of working with Mansoor. "I'm truly looking forward to working with a person of Shoaib Sir's caliber.
