Another Indian airline posts losses for second quarter

India's budget airline SpiceJet has suffered financial losses for the second consecutive quarter.

SpiceJet said in its quarterly report that it suffered a loss of IRs2.35 billion ($266 million) in three months, from April to June 2025.

According to a report, Indian citizens reduced travel to various countries through low-cost airlines during the recent war between Pakistan and India.

In response to India's recent aggression, Pakistan closed its airspace to all Indian carriers and suspended trade with New Delhi.
