Four FC personnel martyred in Karak terror attack

Four FC personnel were martyred when an FC vehicle came under attack in tehsil Banda Daud Shah area of Karak on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

The martyred personnel reportedly belonged to Lakki Marwat and Tank.

The security forces launched a search operation in the area following the incident, while the bodies of the martyred personnel were sent to their hometowns for burial.

So far, no group has claimed responsibility for the attack. 

A week ago, terrorists shot dead a Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl leader in Dragay area of Karak district.

The deceased leader, Syed Wali, had reportedly abandoned his hometown due to security threats and had settled in Barghantu area of Bannu district.

Wali had gone to his hometown in connection with an urgent work where unknown armed men took him to his abandoned house and killed him.

The deceased had also served as general secretary of JUI-F’s Wazir subdivision chapter.

Police officials confirmed the killing of the JUI-F leader and said that the Counter-Terrorism Department had launched an investigation into the incident.
