Iqra Kanwal gets emotional for sister Fatima Faisal regarding award nominations
YouTuber Iqra Kanwal has opened up about her disappointment over her younger sister Fatima Faisal not receiving an individual award nomination and expressed sadness that Fatima has worked hard to build an identity of her own.
Speaking about the situation, Iqra praised Fatima for her consistency, entertaining personality and the content she creates for her audience.
She felt that Fatima’s efforts deserved to be recognised separately rather than only being associated with the family or group.
Iqra became emotional while discussing the matter and admitted that her sisters happiness and disappointments affect her deeply.
She explained that she considers Hira, Fatima, Zainab and Rabia almost like her own children which also makes it difficult for her to see any of them feeling hurt.
She also pointed out that several members of their household received nominations, something she was happy about but Fatima’s absence from the individual category still left her disappointed.
According to Iqra, Fatima is genuinely happy whenever her family succeeds, but individual recognition carries a different feeling for any content creator who has put in personal effort to establish their own name.
