Cold wave, fog to grip country during next few days amid scattered rain
Weather experts predicted cold wave, fog across in the country while rain and snowfall is likely Northern areas during next week, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Fog is expected in the plains. Cold weather and strong winds are expected in Sindh, Balochistan and Punjab. According to Met office, during the next week rain is expected in Chitral, Dir, Swat, Buner, Shangla, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Astor, Ghazar, Gilgit, Gilgit, Hunzd, Skardu, Neelam Valley during December 7 to 11.
From December 7, westerly winds are predicted to enter the upper part of the country which will cause thunder in Muzaffarabad, Rawalakot, Kotli, Havelian. Temperature in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir is likely to be 4 to 6 degrees Celsius below normal. In Balochistan and Sindh, the temperature is expected to be 5 to 7 degrees Celsius lower. Rain forecast for Murree Galiyat, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Jhelum, Chakwal, Sialkot, Hafizabad during December 7-8.
In PUnjab region, rain is expected in Lahore, Gujaranwala, Sargodha, Khushab, Faisalabad and Jhang areas during next few days .
