Fazl urges govt to address public reservations on Madaris Registration Bill
JUI Chief Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman has urged the government to address all public reservations regarding Madaris Registration Bill, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Talking to media in Swabi, Fazl said that JUI was going to hold million march in Peshawar against Israeli aggression and JUI leadership will explain his future plan of action.
He said JUI was in contact with the Federation of Madrasas al-Arabiya, allied organizations and Madrasas Deeniya about the situation.
JUI chief told media that phone call came hours after JUI issued a deadline and threatened to launch a march on Islamabad after the Madaris Registration Bill does not become a law. During the telephonic conversation, Maulana Fazl conveyed his party’s reservations to the prime minister over the bill. The JUI chief cautioned the government to refrain from making the bill controversial.
Fazl said that government’s bill will cause distrust in the politics of the country. He advised the government to use all his resources to keep the situation soft, adding that such move was taking the people in the country to extremism. He urged the government to settle the affairs urgently.
