MDCAT exam on Dec 8: Sindh govt restricts people's movement near examination centres

The Sindh government on Friday imposed a ban on people’s movement in areas where Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) is being held in multiple cities of the province on December 8, 2024. 

The MDCAT exam will be held on December 8 (Sunday) at the following locations: University of Karachi; NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi; Public Health School, Hyderabad; Mehran University of Engineering and Techonolgy (MUET), Jamshoro; Quaid-e-Azam University of Engineering, Science & Technology, Shaheed Benazirabad; Police Training School, PTS Bus Terminal, Larkana and IBA Public School, Sukkur. 

As part of efforts to make the MDCAT exam as much transparent as possible, the Sindh government has imposed Section 144 in areas around the examination centres. A notification in this regard was issued by the Sindh Home Department on Friday. There is a complete ban on people brining mobile phones and lady hand bags to the examination centres.
