PIA moves to appoint sponsor firm for Saudi Arabia station operations

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has decided to appoint a sponsor firm to head and manage its station operations in Saudi Arabia, 24NewsHD TV reported on Saturday. 

The national flag carrier has issued a call for firms to apply for the sponsor position, with the entire selection process expected to be completed by 19 December, according to PIA authorities.

The appointed firm will be responsible for accommodation and meals of airline staff, as well as overseeing station-related operations and other administrative duties in Saudi Arabia.

PIA officials said the move aims to streamline overseas operations and improve service quality through professional outsourcing.
