Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif will go to Turkey on Wednesday to express sympathy to the Turkish brethren people over the destruction caused by the earthquake, reported 214NewsHD TV channel. 

According to the sources, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will visit earthquake-hit areas in Turkey. Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will also accompany the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister will also meet the Turkish President in Ankara, sources added. 

Shehbaz Sharif already conveyed his heartfelt sympathies to the victims saying that Pakistan is deeply saddened over the loss of precious human lives due to the earthquake. He said Pakistan stands with the brotherly country Turkey and its people during this difficult hour.  He assured Pakistan's full cooperation with the government and the people of Turkey in dealing with this disaster.

Meanwhile, Pakistan is dispatching its first special plane carrying relief goods to Turkey Monday night. 

The C-130 aircraft will carry the Army's search and rescue team from Chakalaka Air Base and will directly reach the earthquake-affected areas of Turkey. 

A PIA special flight will also depart for Turkey with 50 people and carrying 15 tons of goods on Tuesday morning. Rescue 1122 officials are included in the team. 

Likewise, C-130 aircraft will depart for Istanbul from Lahore on February 7, with 7 tons of relief goods. The relief goods will be included tents, blankets, and other essential items. 

From February 8, and onward, 15 tons of relief goods will be sent to Turkey and Syria from Islamabad and Lahore on daily basis through PIA flights.

Ministry of Health and Army medical teams will be sent to Turkey and Syria, the sources added. 

It is pertinent to mention that be it the earthquake of 2005, super floods of 2010 and recent floods, Turkey has always come forward to help Pakistanis. Last year, Ankara has sent more than 15 planes and 13 "cargo trains" loaded with relief goods, including tents, food, medicine, kitchen items, vaccines and other supplies to the flood-hit regions.
