Two terrorists killed in gunbattle with troops in North Waziristan

Two terrorists were killed during an intelligence-based operation launched by security forces personnel in North Waziristan District, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to an ISPR statement released in Rawalpindi on Tuesday, on receiving reports of presence of terrorists the security forces on the night between 5 and 6 February 2024 conducted an intelligence-based operation in North Waziristan District.

During the conduct of operation, intense fire exchange took place between own troops and terrorists as a result of which two terrorists were sent to hell including wanted terrorist ring leader Ayubullah alias Mansoor.

Weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the killed terrorists who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities including target killings as well as extortion and abduction of innocent civilians.

Sanitization operation was conducted to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area. Locals of the area appreciated the operation and expressed their full support to eliminate the menace of terrorism.
