Blast damages police officer’s room in Landikotal

An explosive device was exploded outside the door of the Additional SHO's compartment in Landikotal late Wednesday night but luckily no one was hurt, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday. 

According to police, the explosion took place last night and the door was partially damaged while no casualties were reported in the explosion.

Police reached the spot after the incident and started investigation. 

There was a hand grenade attack on the house of the Additional SHO before too, police said.

Meanwhile, two people were killed while a passerby child injured in firing of unidentified armed men in Chamkani area in Peshawar district.

According to police, two people named Adil Khan, resident of Akbarpur, Garhi Momin and Shoaib Khan were killed in firing by unknown persons near the Motorway Service Road, Kandi Dilawar Stop, near Hana Chamkani. 

Police said a school boy who was going to school was also seriously injured and he has been shifted to the hospital. 

Senior police officials and rescue personnel are present at the spot and further investigation has been initiated.
