PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah has alleged that the Intelligence Bureau might be behind the leak of party’s Vice President Maryam Nawaz’s private talk with another leader of the party, Pervaiz Rasheed, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Talking to a presser on Thursday, Rana Sanaullah said that Maryam did not use objectionable language in her conversation with Pervaiz Rasheed. He was of the view that recording a private conversation and made it public is a crime. 

Sanaullah held that the government was behind the leak of Maryam’s audiotape. He suspected that the IB might have provided the tape to the government. 

He stated that the audiotape was made public on the day when the ECP’s scrutiny report on the PTI foreign funding case was appeared. 

He endorsed the statement of the ISPR DG regarding the deal. He said that Nawaz Sharif had never desired to cut a deal and he had not become a part of any such plan which imposed the inept rulers on Pakistan. The powers which brought these rulers can repent their mistake by removing them, he added.
