Maryam demands Imran's resignation and formation of JIT

Pakistan Muslim League- Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz Sharif Thursday demanded immediate resignation of the Prime Minister Imran Khan and formation of Joint Investigation Team (JIT), reported 24NewsHD TV.
During a press conference in Lahore, PML-N leader said the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) received funding from the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Maryam said the facts of foreign funding were deliberately concealed.
Maryam said that out of 26 PTI accounts, 18 were active. Only four out of 26 accounts were declared in the Election Commission, Maryam added.
Maryam lashed out at the premiere and said that Imran Khan used 7 years delay tactics.
Maryam Nawaz Sharif said that Prime Minister Imran Khan is the Principal Signatory of Foreign Funding Accounts.
Imran Khan has also pulled the remaining mask from his face, said Maryam Nawaz.
The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) was pressurized not to make the report public, added Maryam.
PML-N leader further said that money was solicited in the name of employees and office staff. Now Imran Khan will not find a way to escape, added Maryam.
She demanded the formation of a JIT to look into the matter and hold the hearings on the case on the daily basis.
Maryam took a jibe at former Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) and said: “I ask Saqib Nisar what is the status of your certificate of honesty and trustworthiness.”
Meanwhile, Maryam Nawaz said that the party will decide the PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif return to Pakistan.
