Flour stalls were set up at 47 different places in Islamabad on the instructions of Deputy Commissioner in view of the skyrocketing flour prices in the local markets, reported 24NewSHD TV channel on Friday.

According to Deputy Commissioner Irfan Nawaz Memon, flour stalls have been set up in each sub-division headed by an assistant commissioner to ensure the provision of flour at the government rate to citizens.

Seri Chowk, Simly Dam Road, Satra Meel Stop, Main Bazar Babri, Main Bazar Nai Abadi, Main Bazar New Mall Curry Road, Jhagi Stop, Dhok Jilani Bazar, and Main Bazar Bari Imam are among the places.

“There is no shortage of flour in the city,” he continued, adding that official flour is also available at a number of shops.
