LB Polls Phase-2 in Karachi, Hyderabad to be held on Jan 15

After several delays, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) is all set to hold local government elections in Karachi and Hyderabad on January 15, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported on Friday.
In a letter issued by ECP Sindh on Jan 6, all the officials have been informed that work for local government elections 2023 (Phase-II) is in full swing. It is further added that the poll date is near (Jan 15), therefore, the competent authority has directed all the offices of DROS, ROS, RECS, and DECs as well as all branches of the PEC office to remain open on Saturday and Sunday (Jan 7 to 8, 2023).
